Stefanie, I love this piece, it felt like a warm hug. I can feel the warmest, sweetness, and softness of the avena intertwined with the story. I especially loved this line and sentiment throughout “The sugar is the vessel, but the memory is what actually sweetens the avena.” The story was the vessel, but the details are what sweetened and warmed the feeling behind it. Great job.
