Stefanie, this is so beautiful and comforting. I loved the use of “past selves” and pots that retain a memory. And so many precious lines. I’d love maybe one sentence or clause clearly stating the relationship between the writer and the receiver. I read this in an agitated mood, and felt better by the time I got to the end.
