It’s not just about writing. There must also be other ways to move rage through the body and the spirit.

        Week 1 Offerings:
        1. Go for a mad walk:
Gather all your fury and take a damn walk. Pump your fists. Take deep breaths like a bull. Walk the streets of NYC, the local mall, along the beach. Wherever. Just go. Walk until your heart is pumping out of your chest and you feel like maybe you might burst and then stop. Now either out loud or in your head say: I’m allowed to be angry. I hear you, rage. I feel you and I release you back into the air.
If you’re near an ocean, feel free to shout. If you’re at the gym, feel free to say this while punching the punching bag. And if you cannot walk, if the weather is trash, then go do something you love and bring your rage with you. Play video games, paint, do legos, whatever, but follow the same vibe. Bring your anger with you and then send it on its way.
        2. Rage Altar Beginnings:
Find a soft object. Cuddle it (You can cuddle a pet or a person, but for this offering, you still need an object.)
If it needs to be washed, wash it. Otherwise, put a few drops or dabs of your favorite scent: agua florida, lavender essential oil, whatever and keep it by your bed for 2-3 nights then make a space for it somewhere in your home. This is the beginning of your rage altar.

Share 3-5 sentences about your walk and/or your soft object here as a new comment.
